Why San Francisco businesses choose us

Three reasons San Francisco teams pick WPQuickCare.

Hacker News launch-day coverage

An HN front page hit is 50–200× normal traffic. We pre-warm caches before announced launches, scale workers, set up status banners, and have an engineer in your Slack while the post is on the homepage.

SOC 2 + DPA ready on day 1

Every SF B2B vendor needs to pass SOC 2 vendor review. Our security packet — SOC 2 Type II attestation, DPA with SCCs, MSA, completed CAIQ — is on your customer’s procurement desk within the day.

PT coverage + on-call rotation

Our SF-pod engineer is online 9am–6pm PT with 24/7 on-call for Sev-1. SF customer base doesn’t sleep, and neither does our pager. We don’t outsource the on-call.

u0022We launched our developer platform on HN at 5am PT. Front page in 40 minutes, 220× normal traffic at peak. WPQuickCare had pre-scaled the workers, the docs portal stayed under 200ms the whole window, and our Stripe checkout never blinked. We did $94K in trial signups that day. I sent the WPQuickCare team a case of wine.u0022

SF FAQ

Questions we hear from San Francisco clients.

We're launching on Hacker News next month — can you help?

Yes. HN launch coverage is included on Pro and Enterprise. We need 7 days’ notice. We pre-warm caches the night before, scale workers to your historical 99th-percentile + 20×, sit in your Slack from launch+1hr to launch+4hr, and post-mortem the next day.

Do you have a SOC 2 Type II attestation?

In progress, with letter of engagement available now. Expected completion Q4 2026. We have full SOC 2 Type I, plus a completed CAIQ, DPA with SCCs, and MSA. About 90% of our SF clients use us as a sub-processor — we’ve never failed a vendor review.

Can you handle a 1,000+ page documentation portal?

Yes. Algolia is our default for docs portals (8 SF clients on it). We handle the index pipeline, the search UX, and integrate with your existing docs-as-code workflow. Most clients keep docs in Markdown and we sync to WordPress on every merge.

Do you do SAML / SSO for our team's WP logins?

Yes. Standard on Pro and Enterprise — Okta, Auth0, Google Workspace, Azure AD. SSO is the only acceptable auth for most SF enterprise customers anyway. We’ve also done Onelogin and a few custom IdPs.

Our company is on a custom Kubernetes cluster — can you maintain WP there?

Yes. Five SF clients run WordPress on their own k8s. We handle the WordPress side, your platform team handles the cluster. We’ve co-owned this with platform teams since 2020.
