Fix & RecoverHigh-stakes moves, handled calmly

Move your site without losing data, rankings, or sleep.

Migrations are high-stakes and high-stress — which is exactly why most agencies avoid them. We don’t. Host-to-host, WordPress↔Shopify, or onto a proper staging-and-deploy pipeline: zero downtime, no data loss, every redirect mapped so your SEO survives the move.

A botched migration means broken images, lost variants, missing redirects, and an SEO cliff.

Migrations carry real liability: data mapping between platforms, hundreds of URLs that each need a redirect, theme recreation, payment-gateway reconfiguration, and post-move QA. Shopify is aggressively courting WooCommerce stores, and vice versa — creating demand most agencies won’t touch. We systematized the process so the risk is managed, not gambled.

How it works

A runbook, not a gamble.

Every migration follows a tested sequence with a rollback plan at each step.

01

Plan & back up

We inventory everything — content, media, plugins, URLs, integrations — take a verified full backup of the source, and build the redirect map before anything moves.

02

Build on staging

The new environment is assembled and QA’d on staging: every page, every product, every form tested. You sign off before we touch the live domain.

03

Cut over cleanly

DNS TTL lowered ahead of time, cutover in a low-traffic window, 301 redirects live the moment the switch flips. Visitors never see a broken or “under construction” site.

04

Verify & monitor

Post-cutover QA on images, variants, checkout, and search indexing. We watch Search Console for crawl errors and confirm rankings hold.

FAQ — Migration & Staging

What people ask before a move.

Will my site go down during the migration?
No. We build and QA the new environment on staging while your current site stays live, then cut over in a low-traffic window with DNS pre-staged. Visitors continue to see a working site throughout — the switch is invisible.
Will I lose SEO rankings?
Not if redirects are done right — which is the part DIY moves botch. We map a 301 redirect for every old URL to its new location, preserve metadata and structure, and monitor Search Console after cutover. Rankings typically hold steady or recover within days.
Can you move me between WordPress and Shopify?
Yes, in both directions. Platform moves are more involved — products, orders, customers, and blog content all need mapping, plus theme recreation and payment reconfiguration. We’ve systematized it, and it’s quoted in the platform-move tier.
What’s a staging pipeline and do I need one?
A staging site is a private copy where changes are tested before going live, paired with a Git-based deploy process so updates ship safely with zero downtime. If your site is business-critical and you’ve ever been burned by an update breaking production, yes — you need one.
What if something goes wrong mid-migration?
Every step has a rollback plan, and we keep the verified source backup untouched until you’ve signed off on the new site. If anything looks off, we can revert to the original state quickly — you’re never stranded on a half-migrated site.
