Care PlansEyes on your site around the clock

Know your site is down before your customers tell you.

Most “uptime monitors” send you an email after you’re already offline. We check every 60 seconds from multiple regions, alert you instantly — and, on managed tiers, an engineer actually responds. Plus performance and SSL-expiry monitoring, so small problems never become outages.

An alert that says “you’re down” is only useful if someone acts on it.

Downtime costs sales, ad spend, and trust — and Google notices too. A bare monitoring tool emails you and stops there; if it fires at 3am, nothing happens until morning. We monitor every 60 seconds from multiple regions, watch SSL expiry and response time, and on managed tiers an engineer investigates and acts the moment something breaks.

Monitoring plans

From simple alerts to a managed response.

Every plan checks every 60 seconds. The difference is what happens when something goes wrong.

The incident playbook

What happens the moment your site blinks.

On managed tiers, this runs automatically — you may hear it’s fixed before you knew it broke.

01

Detect

Checks from five regions every 60 seconds confirm a real outage (not a single-node blip) within seconds, then trigger the alert.

02

Alert

You get email and SMS instantly, with the error code and which regions are affected — so it’s clear whether it’s the whole site or a partial failure.

03

Respond

On managed tiers, an engineer investigates immediately — checking the server, recent changes, and logs — and takes action rather than waiting for you to notice.

04

Report

Once resolved, you get an incident report: what happened, how long, the root cause, and what we changed so it doesn’t recur.

Why interval matters

The difference 60 seconds makes.

Illustrative comparison of detection speed against a typical 5-minute free monitor. Real impact depends on your traffic and revenue per hour.

FAQ — Uptime Monitoring

What people ask before turning it on.

Isn’t free uptime monitoring good enough?
Free tools check less often (often every 5 minutes), monitor from one location, and only send an email. That’s fine as a smoke alarm, but it won’t tell you a partial failure from a full outage, won’t catch a broken checkout that still returns HTTP 200, and won’t do anything when it fires. Our managed tiers actually respond.
What’s a “content check” and why does it matter?
A site can return a “200 OK” status while the page is actually broken — a blank checkout, a missing product grid, an error message in the body. Content checks verify that a specific element (like an “Add to cart” button) is really present, catching failures that uptime-only monitors miss entirely.
Will you actually fix it, or just tell me it’s down?
Depends on the tier. Watch and Pro alert you; the Managed tier has an engineer investigate and act on incidents directly. If you want hands-on response, Managed (or bundling monitoring into a care plan) is the way to go.
Can my customers see a status page?
Yes — Pro and Managed include a public status page you can share so customers can self-check during an incident, which dramatically cuts support tickets. It shows uptime history and current status, branded to your site.
Do you monitor SSL and domain expiry too?
Yes. Expired SSL certificates and lapsed domains are among the most common “sudden outages” — and the most avoidable. We watch both and alert you well before they expire so you’re never caught out.
