Optimize & GrowEngineering, not a caching plugin

Your site is slow because someone installed a plugin and left.

Every host says “we’re fast.” Most speed services install WP Rocket and call it done. We do the actual engineering — database tuning, PHP/OPcache config, asset loading strategy, CDN setup — until your Core Web Vitals go green on real field data, not just a one-off Lighthouse score.

The gap between “installed a caching plugin” and “passes Core Web Vitals” is enormous — and it’s costing you rankings.

Core Web Vitals are a Google ranking factor, and field data (real visitors) is what counts — not the green score you screenshot once on fast office wifi. Real fixes live at the server and database layer: PHP-FPM and OPcache tuning, Redis object caching, a bloated wp_options table, render-blocking assets, and image strategy. That’s engineering work, and it’s exactly what gets skipped.

How it works

Measure, fix the real bottleneck, prove it.

No guessing, no “we turned on caching.” Every change is measured against field data.

01

Profile

We pull CrUX field data, run waterfall analysis, and profile the server — TTFB, query count, autoload size. We find what’s actually slow, not what’s fashionable to blame.

02

Engineer the server

Redis object cache, OPcache, PHP-FPM tuning, page caching configured for your host (WP Engine, Kinsta, Cloudways, or VPS). This is where the big TTFB wins live.

03

Tune the front end

Defer render-blocking CSS/JS, inline critical CSS, lazy-load offscreen media, fix layout shift, and move images to WebP/AVIF behind a CDN.

04

Verify on field data

We wait for real-user data to confirm the green result — then hand you a before/after report. Lab scores lie; field data doesn’t.

FAQ — Core Web Vitals

What people ask before the speed audit.

I already have WP Rocket. Isn’t that enough?
WP Rocket is a good tool — but a tool isn’t a strategy. If your TTFB is high because there’s no object cache, or your database autoload is 3MB, or your host’s PHP is misconfigured, no caching plugin fixes that. We tune the layers underneath the plugin, which is where most of the real time is lost.
Why do you care about “field data” vs the score I see?
Google ranks on field data — the Chrome User Experience Report from real visitors on real devices and networks. A 98 Lighthouse score on your laptop means little if mobile users on 4G are getting a 4-second LCP. We optimize for the data Google actually uses.
Will this work on my host?
Yes. We work across managed hosts (WP Engine, Kinsta, Cloudways, SiteGround) and self-managed VPS. The approach adapts to what each environment allows — some let us tune the server directly, others we optimize within their caching layer.
My WooCommerce store is slow. Same service?
Stores are harder — carts and checkouts can’t be page-cached the same way, and dynamic requests need careful handling. We specialize in this. A faster checkout also converts better, so it pairs naturally with our WooCommerce CRO work.
How long until I see results?
Lab improvements are visible immediately after the engineering work ships. Field data (the CWV Google uses) updates on a 28-day rolling window, so the official green status follows within a few weeks as real-user data accumulates.
